Lima Perubahan Penting Pada Pelaksanaan SBMPTN 2019

Setiap tahunnya berjuta siswa lulusan tingkat sekolah atas yang ingin melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi negeri. Mereka saling bersaing untuk memperebutkan kuota kursi di perguruan tinggi impiannya. Ada beberapa cara yang bisa ditempuh yaitu dengan mengikuti seleksi penerimaan. Salah satunya yaitu dengan mengikuti Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN).

Pelaksanaan SBMPTN 2019 nanti kita akan melihat sesuatu yang berbeda dari pelaksanaan tahun tahun sebelumnya. Regulasi dan tata cara akan mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Hal ini berdasarkan kebijakan Kementrian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi yang diumumkan beberapa waktu lalu terkait dengan SBMPTN 2019.

Nah, apa saja yang baru tentang kebijakan tentang SBMPTN 2019 mendatang, berikut ulasannya.

Perubahan Penyelenggara
Penyelenggara SBMPTN 2019 akan dilaksanakan oleh Lembaga Tes Masuk Perguruan Tinggi (LTMPT) yang sebelumnya dilaksanakan oleh Panitia Pusat Seleksi Nasional Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Lembaga baru ini tugasnya mengelola dan mengolah data calon mahasiswa baru untuk bahan seleksi jalur SNMPTN dan SBMPTN oleh Rektor PTN serta melaksanakan kegiatan dalam proses ujiannya. 

Model Tes
SBMPTN 2019 menganut satu  sistem model tes yaitu Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK). Sistem Ujian Tulis Berbasis Cetak yang pada tahun sebelumnya diadakan mendampingi Ujian tulis Berbasis Komputer akan ditiadakan digantikan dengan model tes ini. 

Pelaksanaan Tes
Hal yang signifikan berubah pada pelaksanaan SBMPTN 2019 mendatang yaitu pada pelaksanaan tes. 
Para peserta akan mengikuti tes terlebih dahulu baru mendaftar perguruan tinggi negeri kemudian
Hasil nilai yang didapat akan digunakan untuk mendaftar ke perguruan tinggi negeri tujuan. Peserta diberikan kesempatan sampai dua kali sampai mendapatkan hasil yang benar- benar maksimal. 

Hasil dari tes akan dikirimkan ke peserta tes melalui e-mail masing- masing dan mereka bisa mendaftar ke perguruan tinggi negeri dengan hasil tes yang tertinggi (bila melaksanakan tes dua kali). Setiap tes, peserta akan dikenakan biaya Rp. 200 ribu dan kemungkinan tes akan dilaksanakan mulai bulan Maret 2019 mendatang melalui 85 perguruan tinggi negeri yang ditunjuk sebagai tempat lokasi ujian. 

Materi Tes
Pada SBMPTN 2019, Tes Kemampuan Potensi Akademik (TKPA) dan Tes Kemampuan Dasar (TKD) diganti menjadi Tes Kemampuan Skolastik (TPS) dan Tes Kompetensi Akademik (TKA). 

Pada tes kompetensi akademik (TKA), masih tetap akan menggunakan dua pilihan yaitu Sains dan Teknologi (Saintek) serta Sosial Humaniora (Soshum). Sedangkan pada Tes Kemampuan Skolastik pada prinsipna hampir sama dengan TPA yang mengukur kemampuan kognitif, penalaran dan pemahaman.

Daya Tampung
Setiap PTN mungkin menerapkan aturan yang berbeda mengenai daya tampung calon mahasiswa. Secara garis besar pada SBMPTN 2019 nanti, jalur SBMPTN memiliki batas minimum 40 persen, SNMPTN minimum 20 persen,  dan ujian mandiri maksimum 30%. 

Nah, itulah beberapa hal yang berubah pada pelaksanaan SBMPTN 2019. Tetap update informasi dan persiapkan ujian mulai sekarang dengan berlatih soal- soal model SBMPTN tahun sebelumnya.

Kita bisa membuat file audio sendiri tanpa melibatkan banyak orang serta dengan biaya yang mahal yaitu dengan bantuan program Text-To-Speech (TTS). Sistem kerja dari program TTS ini adalah mengubah teks menjadi suara. Suara atau audio tersebut kemudian dapat didownload dan ddimanfaatkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kita.

Ada banyak sekali program Text-To-Speech (TTS) baik berbayar maupun gratis. Kelebihan ada pada setiap program tentunya. Program berbayar menyediakan fitur yang lebih lengkap dengan suara yang premium sedang program gratis menyediakan fitur yang standar.

Dari beberapa program yang sudah saya coba, menurut saya ada tiga program terbaik untuk saya ulas pada tulisan ini. 

1. Acapela Box
Acapela Box merupakan platform penyedia konversi teks ke audio dengan menggunakan  kualitas Text- To- Speech yang baik. Copy-kan file teks anda ke dalam box yang tersedia kemudian konversikan menjadi format audio yang anda inginkan seperti WAV dan MP3. Anda bisa memilih suara baik laki- laki maupun perempuan berdasarkan umur atau usia mereka. Webtool ini berbayar, jadi anda harus membayar untuk mendapatkan fasilitas premium. Dengan fasilitas premium, tentunya fitur- fitur akan dapat digunakan semuanya, tanpa terbatas.

Anda dapat memanfaatkan fitur demo yang disediakan yaitu dengan sign up terlebih dulu sehingga  fitur premium dapat digunakan secara gratis untuk sementara. Saran saja untuk mendownload fitur audio dari Acapela Box, anda bisa menggunakan fitur download atau melalui downloader anda seperti IDM.

Sekedar pengalaman membuat file listening dengan platform ini, saya membutuhkan tambahan program sound editor seperti wavepad untuk menggabungkan beberapa file audio-nya. Memang agak ribet prosesnya akan tetapi hasilnya lumaan bagus serta output audio-nya tidak kaku seperti suara robot. 

2. Balabolka

Balabolka adalah salah satu program Text-To-Speech (TTS) untuk mengubah format teks menjadi audio. Program ini menggunakan berbagai versi Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) yang memungkinkan untuk mengubah parameter suara, termasuk tingkat dan pitch. Anda dapat menerapkan daftar substitusi khusus untuk meningkatkan kualitas artikulasi suara. Fitur ini berguna bila Anda ingin mengubah ejaan kata-kata. Aturan untuk koreksi pengucapan menggunakan sintaks ekspresi reguler.

Balabolka juga dapat diinstal dengan mudah di laptop atau komputer anda. Dan format audio yang dihasilkan bisa disimpan dengan format WAV, MP3, MP4, OGG or WMA.

Namun, karena merupakan aplikasi gratis, hasil dari konversi audio juga tidak semaksimal aplikasi yang berbayar mahal. Suara atau output yang dihasilkan masih kaku dan terdengar seperti suara robot. 

3. Listening Media
Menurut saya aplikasi ini yang paling mengerti kebutuhan guru bahasa Inggris dalam membuat file listening. Kita bisa membuat model audio seperti percakapan atau model soal listening ujian nasional. Aplikasi Listening Media menyediakan beberapa pilihan model suara, anda bisa memilih salah satu pilihan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anda dan aplikasi ini memungkinkan kita melakukan pengulangan pada output audio yang kita buat meskipun hanya dengan satu script teks.

Kita juga bisa mengatur tempo suara yang akan dihasilkan apakah tempo lambat atau cepat sebelum menyimpannya ke dalam format MP3 atau WAV. Selain itu kita juga bisa menambahkan suara eksternal, sebagai contoh keadaan di stasiun, bandara, dan sebagainya. Fitur jeda diam, untuk men-setting jeda antara satu kalimat dengan lainnya. Serta saat Anda selesai mengetik teks dialog, anda dapat mengubah teks sebagai file mp3 atau wav.

Mapel bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu mapel yang diujikan dalam ujian nasional. Salah satu bagian dalam soal bahasa Inggris Ujian Nasional adalah soal listening. Soal listening membutuhkan keterampilan khusus untuk menyelesaikannya secara benar. keterampilan yang bisa diasah yaitu dengan latihan mendengarkan. 


Kita bisa mulai latihan dengan mendengarkan lagu, dialog, berita, podcasts dalam bahasa Inggris. Plus mengenali tipikal soal listening bahasa Inggris SMA.

Soal listening bahasa Inggris SMA berjumlah lima belas butir soal dengan terdiri dari empat bagian utama. Setiap bagian utama memiliki karakter yang tersendiri. Untuk lebih jelasnya berikut pembahasannya.
  • Pada bagian pertama, kita akan mendengar percakapan disertai dengan pertanyaan seputar dialog tersebut. Ada lima pilihan jawaban yang akan tersedia dalam soal, dan diharuskan memilih salah satu jawaban yang paling benar. Soal bagian pertama ini terdapat pada nomor satu sampai empat.
  • Pada bagian kedua, Kita akan mendengar dialog yang belum lengkap, khususnya pada bagian respon dialog tersebut. Kita mesti memilih satu respon dari empat respon pilihan jawaban yang tepat untuk melengkapi dialog tersebut. bagian kedua ini terdapat pada nomor lima sampai tujuh.
  • Pada bagian ketiga, Kita akan mendengar monolog dalam bahasa Inggris. Kita harus mencari tahu informasi apa yang terdapat dalam monolog. Pada soal, akan tampak lima jawaban yang berbentuk gambar dan kita diharuskan memilih gambar yang sesuai dengan apa yang dimaksudkan dalam monolog. Soal untuk bagian ketiga ini terdapat pada  soal nomor  delapan sampai sebelas.
  • Pada bagian keempat, Kita akan mendengar monolog, kemudian kita diminta untuk menjawab pertanyaan seputar informasi yang terdapat dalam monolog tersebut. Lima pilihan jawaban informasi akan tersedia dalam soal dan kita akan memilih salah satu jawaban yang benar berdasar monolog tersebut.

This is a marsupial animal from the family Macropodidae. It has large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping, a long muscular tail for balance, and a small head. Like most marsupials, the female has a pouch called a marsupium in which joeys complete postnatal development. The large of this animal adapted much better than the smaller macropods to land clearing for pastoral agriculture and habitat changes brought to the Australian landscape by humans. Many of the smaller species are rare and endangered. This animal is used to be an unofficial symbol of Australia and appears as an emblem on the Australian coat of arms and on some of its currency and is used by some of Australia's well known organisations.

Once upon a time, a mouse who always slept on the land had found an unlucky chance for the intimate  acquaintance  with a frog who lived for the mouse herd in the water. One day, the frog was  intent  on  making  mischief.  He  tight  the  foot  of  the  mouse  tightly  to  his  arm.  Once  joined together, the frog led the mouse to the meadow where he usually searched for food.  
Then he   led  the  mouse for  the  pond  in  which  he  lived  and  when  reaching  the  bank  of  the water, he suddenly jumped in, dragging the mouse in with him.
The frog really enjoyed the water and swam croaking about, ignoring the dead mouse body floating about on the surface. A  hawk  observed  the  floating  mouse from  the  sky  and  flied  down  and  grabbed  with  his  talon carrying back to his nest. The frog still being fasten to the leg of the mouse was also carried over as prisoner and was eaten by the hawk.

The Panama Canal is an artificial 48-mile (77 km) waterway in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean. The canal cuts across the Isthmus of Panama and is a key conduit for international maritime trade. There are locks at each end to lift ships up to Gatun Lake, an artificial lake created to reduce the amount of excavation work required for the canal, 26 meters (85 ft) above sea level, and then lower the ships at the other end. The original locks are 33.5 meters (110 ft) wide.  A third, wider lane of locks was constructed between September 2007 and May 2016. The expanded canal began commercial operation on June 26, 2016. Niagara Falls is the most famous water fall in the world because of its beauty and immense size. Niagara Falls is part of the Niagara River. The Niagara is a short river, just 35 miles (56 kilometers) long. It connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in eastern North America. East of the river is the United States. West of the river is Canada. About halfway between the two lakes, a sharp drop in the river makes Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls is actually two giant waterfalls and one smaller one. Goat Island, in New York state, lies between the two main falls. One big waterfall, called American Falls, is on the U.S. side of the river. American Falls has a fairly straight edge. The waterfall is 1,075 feet (328 meters) wide and 182 feet (55 meters) high. A small part of American Falls, located near Goat Island, is called Bridal Veil Falls.
The biggest of the two giant waterfalls is in Canada and is known as the Canadian Falls. It’s also called the Horseshoe Falls because of its horseshoe shape. The curved edge of the Canadian Falls measures 2,200 feet (670 meters) wide, and the water drops 187 feet (57 meters). The Canadian Falls carries nine times more water than the American Falls.
Niagara Falls is a popular tourist attraction. Millions of people come each year to watch the spectacular waterfalls. You can take a boat trip to see the falls from below. You can also watch from observation decks above or beside the falls. You can even enter the Cave of the Winds, a path that takes you to the base of Bridal Veil Falls. Visitors must wear bright-yellow rain jackets to stay dry.

Last holiday, my school held a trip to Yogyakarta. We went there with all my school friends by bus. We spent three days and visited some tourist places around that city. First day, we went to a beautiful village near yogyakarta. We stayed in the villagers’ home. In the village, we had many experience that we never got before. We learnt many traditional arts and culture, such as playing javanese orchestra using gamelan, making batik, and tasting traditional food. We also tried many traditional games like Congklak, Betengan, Gobak Sodor, and Dakon.
The next day after leaving the village, we went to Yogyakarta. We went to many interesting places in Yogya. We visited Nglambor beach to see the beautiful of its wave and sands. After that, we went to Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta, and shopped in Malioboro. At night, we saw Ramayana play in Prambanan temple. After watching the play, we ate at the restaurant near the temple. It served us Seafood menu and we ordered fresh crabs and lobster. It was very delicious.
I have to say that it was a great holiday. I can learnt many things about arts and culture that I never knew before.

Polar bears feed almost exclusively on ringed seals and bearded seals. They are also known to eat walrus, beluga whale and bow head whale carcasses, birds’ eggs, and (rarely) vegetation. Polar bears travel great distances in search of prey.
Polar bears are only found in the Arctic. The most important habitats for polar bears are the edges of pack ice where currents and wind interact, forming a continually melting and refreezing matrix of ice patches and leads (open spaces in the ocean between sea ice). These are the areas of where polar bears can find the greatest number of seals.
As the sea ice advances and retreats each season, individual polar bears may travel thousands of miles per year to find food. Polar bears are distributed throughout the Arctic region in 19 sub populations, including Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway.
Polar bears are highly dependent on older stable pack ice in the Arctic region, where they spend much of their time on the ice hunting, mating and denning. They are generally solitary as adults, except during breeding and cub rearing.
Pregnant polar bears need to eat a lot in the summer and fall build up enough fat reserves to survive the denning period. They seek out maternity dens in October or November. Most maternity dens are located on land where snow accumulates including along coastal bluffs, river banks or pressure ridges on sea ice. Sows give birth to usually 1 or 2 one-pound cubs and then nurse them until they reach about 20-30 pounds before emerging from the den in March or April. The young are born from November through January while the mothers are hibernating. Cubs will remain with their mothers for a little over 2 years. Female polar bears can produce five litters in their lifetime, which is one of the lowest reproductive rates of any mammal.

The number of damaged roads linking Jakarta with West Java has certainly provoked complaints from locals and road users. Take for an example, the roads in Bekasi and Tangerang, which have been the focus of the media.
The poor condition of these roads not only jeopardizes road safety but also gives a squalid impression. Moreover, the condition will get worse when it rains. The roads are transformed into water pools or puddles, which can easily cause accidents if motorists are not careful.
No wonder if some people question why there are so many damaged roads and why repairs do not seem to last long. The government should pay special attention to these problems.
In my opinion, the road should be repaired using the right sort of asphalt, stones an sand. Repairs should be done carefully so that the roads can be prevented from constant damage. Otherwise, the repairs would be useless.

Levi Strauss was born in Buttenheim, Germany, on February 26, 1829, in the Franconian region of Bavaria, Germany, to an Ashkenazi Jewish family. He was the son of Hirsch Strauss and his second wife Rebecca Strauss. At the age of 18, Strauss, his mother and two sisters traveled to the United States to join his brothers Jonas and Louis, who had begun a wholesale dry goods business in New York City called J. Strauss Brother & Co.
Levi's sister Fanny and her husband David Stern moved to St. Louis, Missouri, while Levi went to live in Louisville, Kentucky, and sold his brothers' supplies in Kentucky.In January 1853, Levi Strauss became an American citizen.
The family decided to open a West Coast branch of the family dry goods business in San Francisco, which was the commercial hub of the California Gold Rush. Levi was chosen to represent the family and he took a steamship for San Francisco, arriving in early March 1853, where he joined his sister's family. Strauss opened his dry goods wholesale business as Levi Strauss & Co. and imported fine dry goods—clothing, bedding, combs, purses, handkerchiefs—from his brothers in New York. He made tents, and later jeans. Levi lived with Fanny's growing family.
Jacob Davis, one of Strauss's customers and one of the inventors of riveted denim pants in 1871, went into business with Strauss to produce blue jeans. The two men patented the new style of work pants in 1873.
Levi Strauss died on September 26, 1902, in San Francisco at the age of 73. He never married, and left the business to his four nephews, Jacob, Sigmund, Louis, and Abraham Stern, the sons of his sister Fanny and her husband David Stern. He also left bequests to a number of charities, such as the Pacific Hebrew Orphan Asylum and the Roman Catholic Orphan Asylum.
