The following text is for questions 24 to 27.
It was six in the morning when my mother woke me up to go to market with her. My eyelids were so heavy that when I opened them to look at her, all I saw everything blur. I dragged myself from bed and began to change cloth.

We took a short walk to the market. My mother went on and on about what she was going to buy for the day. That helped wake me up. By the end of that short walk, I gathered that she was going to cook stew shepherd's pie for the day.

The old chicken seller was as friendly as usual, greeting my mother with the widest grin. My mother bargained hard for the best price and they landed on a price they could both agree after two minutes.

When my mother finished her marketing, we sat down at the food centre for our breakfast. I looked into the plastic bags and saw that she had some fish in them too.
