Latihan Soal Materi Adjective (Kata Sifat ) Bahasa Inggris Kelas 7 SMP/ MTs Semester 2

Halo sahabat Ahzaa, selamat datang kembali di AhzaaNet. Pada kesempatan kali ini, kita akan berbagi latihan soal bahasa Inggris khususnya untuk tingkat SMP/ MTs kelas 7 semester 2 (genap). Adapun materi dalam latihan soal yang dibahas adalah mengenai pemakaian bentuk adjective (kata sifat) dalam memberikan ciri- ciri fisik karakteristik baik untuk orang, benda atau binatang.

Sebagaimana fungsinya, adjective (kata sifat) adalah kata- kata yang digunakan  untuk menjelaskan kata benda (noun) atau kata ganti benda (pronoun). Contoh dari adjective adalah sebagai berikut, long, bad, tall, beautiful, happy, good, hot, etc. Secara grammatikal, fungsi adjective adalah sebagai attributive dan predicative. 

• Attributive adjectives, adalah adjectives yang menjelaskan noun dan terletak sebelum noun atau terletak antara artikel (determiner) dan noun. Contoh ; the beautiful scenery, the pretty woman, the new car, etc.
• Predicative ajectives, adalah adjectives yang menjelaskan noun atau pronoun yang fungsinya sebagai predikat. Ada dua bentuk predicative adjectives yaitu;

       a. Subject complement

           Contoh : 

1. The bag is expensive.
2. He is smart.
3. Your sister is generous.
4. Listening music is enjoyable.

      b. Object complement

          Contoh :

1. He made his father happy.
2. I consider him stupid.
3. The robber broke the door open.
4. He writes his letters large.
